Briana Santiago is a Maine College of Art student focusing on hand drawn 2-D animation and character acting. She has an interest in aiding in the production management pipeline to tell meaningful new stories for others and herself. With a unique background of being a U.S. Marine, she has incorporated organization and team collaboration into her tool belt as an animator.
Her skills are best seen in ASIFA- East (2024) selected Dean and the Dino Nuggets, as well as, in MECA Animation Festival Best In Show (2024) awarded and Toronto, Canada Couch Off Winter Film Festival (2024) Best North American film, Off Track. The short film Off Track was also selected for screening at festivals such as New York Cinemafest(2024), Animation Planet (2024), and many more.
She hopes to continue to grow her experience as an animator to help bring anyone’s ideas to life and spur an emotional connection with others through storytelling.
